Class Information

We sit quietly at the beginning of class to focus the mind and prepare us for our practice. Then we teach a varied sequence of yoga postures (asanas) which include standing, sitting and recuperative poses. We will show you how to use yoga equipment to help you achieve asanas to the best of your ability. At the end of class you lie down, observe the breath (pranayama) and are guided in relaxation.

The yoga asanas build strength and stamina, improve flexibility, balance and concentration. They also help to reduce tiredness, sooth the nerve and quiten the mind.
