• Each class starts with instructions on alignment for sitting correctly to focus the mind on the body and breath.
• You will be taught a progressive sequence of Yoga asanas (postures) to improve flexibility, strength, balance and concentration.
• Precise techniques and the use of equipment will be demonstrated and explained clearly.
• During the course a wide variety of asana and pranayama (breath technique) will be covered in detail with individual feedback and adjustment when necessary.
• The class is concluded with guided supine relaxation which reduces tiredness, soothes the nerves and quietens the mind.
